For the second year running, I won a weekend ticket, but not gone on the lineup, so won't go again!

Im guessing a mix of these:

    Bears Den
    Jimmy Eat World
    Justice
    Bastille
    Cypress Hill
    Elbow
    Flaming Lips
    George Ezra
    Jake Bugg
    The Naked and Famous
    The Vaccines
    The Courteneers
    Stereophonics
    Liam Gallagher

Definitely the only prediction that I approve of so far! Praying for Courteeners

    Flaming lips would be awesome
    Not sure about the rest

Could be a good shout, must be a long time since they've played?

Slowdive better be there! It is expected of them! If they brought Ride along, now that'd be just fine!

thought there might be some leak this evening of the announcement.
its possible we get some of the other stages announced (comedy, electric ireland etc).

My preference would be to get one major rock/indie band or a load of good small additions, so give scope to discover new acts.

Last thing i want is a load of mid tier acts (who probably cost a fortune) that arent that great e.g kasier chiefs, sterophonics, Bastille etc

You keep setting ludicrous expectations, you'll keep being disappointed.

How long after the announcement are people going to wait before the speculation begins on when the third announcement will happen? I'm guessing "not long".

Seen the XX on Jools tonight, friend accused me of being an old fuddy duddy when I said they both looked like they'd fell straight out of an 80's fair city episode. Both agreed they were not headliner material, late afternoon but now what you want to finish the night on.
Headline needs two good thumpers of acts.

Personally expecting 1 or 2 mid range bangers and then a boat load of lower midrange to low end stuff and the start of the comedy announcements, food shyte and other assorted gubbins.

I was happy with the 1st announcement so all a bonus from now anyway.

(Unless simply red get added, then I'd be goin utterly feral)

Seen as you mentioned Red, the man with the Red face hasn't visited the picnic in a good few years and he's always went down well. I'll put him down as a possible for tomorrow.

Cos they enjoy making us wait.

Will it be a radio announcement again or will the new and improved (?) poster be thrust upon us? Time will tell..
