Personally I'd get the scorpion, it's a better performer from the box and parts are easier and cheaper to buy, mags are cheaper too.
The only bad point with the evo's is your better off changing the gearset in the beginning as they are a wee bit on the weak side ( I have 3 evo's so I know). I put SHS 12:1 gears in and never had a problem since.
