Renting in Thurles

I'm going to LIT Thurles in September but I'm finding it difficult to find a place to rent. I checked daft but there are only two or thre rooms to rent so I'm looking to team up and share a house. Any idea where to start?

I had to laugh at some of those prices. 150 euro for a room in Thurles.

If it includes an evening meal 7 days a week, it may not be bad for digs, especially if the food is good.
