Has anyone got a Norse blind bearing puller set that I could borrow for a quick job? e120 in E Fox which is too much to pay for simply taking out a stuck bearing race. No problem throwing a few quid your way for the loan. It looks like this.

Fitter in my work used to use an ordinary stick arc welder to get these out. He'd weld a bead on the inside run of the race and the race would crack. Depend on the material the bearing is set into (e.g. not plastic!) - although I recall him doing it on aluminium motor housings with success.

Depending on the type of blind bearing you might be able to remove it using hydraulic pressure- plenty of videos on youtube with lads removing blind bearings using grease and rags, packed in until the bearing starts to move.

Thanks for the tips but I need a blind bearing puller, ideally the one above with the wider attachments to fit the race. Any ideas of where I could borrow one would be welcome. Cheers.

Hello again. Final call on this. I need to borrow a blind bearing puller with wide collets like the one pictured above. I'll pay for the use. Thanks.
