North hasn't been great but Watson has been the only Winger to make any claim for the test Team.

May as well stick with North. At least he's a big lump and can go toe to toe with New Zealands' hyperthroid freaks on the wing.

Dont agree with that. Daly for me over North

He clearly was talking about the past, have a read of it again. Im always interested in pointing out the obvious eg. when someone clearly was talking about the past

I did read it again, and its not clear to me. Sorry.

I think you might be right actually, thought it was the 6 Nations but now I'm not sure.

    I could cry!!

    IBF nearly conceded to me

Brutal mistake for the try and has been quiet but some of his clear outs to secure possession won't have gone unnoticed by the coaches.

January for the Southern Hemisphere. August for us, I think.

Well that was an opportunity butchered.

McKenzie said this team is just as important as the All Blacks.

As we all know. McKenzie represents every person in New Zealand.

Therefore, this puts us 1-0 up in a 4 match test series. QED.

New rules came in June 1st AFAIK.

Edit: Conflicting information. Its been trialled in the SH since January and coming into NH rugby in August.

    You were right.

I still don't think its an excuse, after how well publicised the law changes were after the Muldoon incident.

EDIT: Not that I blame Murray entirely. It's the job of the coaches and management to make sure these guys are aware of the differences in the laws.

Yup, Murray is guaranteed the 9 jersey now.

Now for the anoraks, name the last Irish player to start at 9 in a Lions test

Lowe is having an absolute stinker, bounced by SOB there

I know I'm biased but would love to see Earls get a run in this Lions team, we've very little in the way of spark in the back 3 bar Watson

Not much point in having spark in the back 3 if the rest of the side struggle to get the ball out there with any accuracy or without multiple defenders lying in wait.

I think SoB has made a couple of errors in good positions (off load, knock on) so I don't think Gatland will start him unfortunately.

Great game, will be a close call between him and Farrell

Only half watching but certainly seemed to have a good first half at least. Took the ball to the line well and created space for those outside him. Pity the back line as a whole weren't able to make much use of that.
