Alright everyone, I've lurked for a while but not posted. I've just found out something amazing-if you're on 3 PAYG you can use unused credit to buy pokecoins!

I'm on sim only all you can eat data, so I never use any credit. Today I found out you can use unused credit to buy stuff off Google play, and I have 78 euro of unused credit just sitting there. Now I can use it to buy pokecoins! Check it out of you're on 3, I can buy frivolous things like multi lure packs without batting an eyelid now, great discovery.

Not sure if there is a nest but lots of spawns though anytime im in there walking through botanic gardens are next door too with a gate to gain access so have both areas to explore.

It's an excellent nest with loads of stops. Not sure what's there right now though

My wife is my lucky charm...after spotting the lapras for me yesterday I convince her to go on a dun laoghaire pier walk today and guess what pops out beside the cannon gym…Togetic!

Granted I have one already after a lot of walking but wifey was able to grab one for herself, she didn't realise the big deal, it was her 2nd day back playing pogo.

She was more excited about the "helicopter jigglypuff" (hoppip) she caught later...

My last catch of the night turned out to be a wonder cyndaquil! Evolved into a solarbeam typolosion but I don't care - finally got one for the dex.

232 / 235 now

I guess with my wife's luck by tomorrow I'll have an unown :P

Have had a really weird thing happen tonight not for the first time I evolved a weed le only to have the kakuna have less cp, started with a 221cp ended up with a 212cp last time it was a bigger drop.

I caught an 84% IV one earlier this week but CP wasn't great.....I did hatch a 96% IV Cyndaquil at Easter though.

And just on Gen 2 egg hatches, it's pretty much been confirmed that they only hatched from eggs obtained during the Eggstravaganza. Gen 2 starters haven't hatched from eggs since. So not possible, just like the 10km Pidgey way back when!

I call bull**** on this having witnessed it happen at least twice and it was a rat AMGer not a Pidgey!

It's normal for weedle - the kakuna has higher overall stats but they are higher in defense and lower in attack. With the way that cp is calculated (heavily weighted towards attack) it means that quite often a kakuna will have lower cp than the weedle.

Just claimed my coins there too. Has there been any announcement on when the gyms are going down? If they're still active tonight, I'll have to get up early tomorrow to cash out

My local tier 10 gym was torn down last night and my wife and I retook it...guess who's in it this morning - of course the "local" friendly v27... this time he's playing it smart and putting in a low cp arcanine below us but it still bugs me we're sharing a gym with a spoofer.

Claimed 90 coins this morning...was hoping on the 100 but I'm thinking Cabbagehead and Markymark retook a gym...about to check it out....otherwise alarm is set for 5:30 tomorrow morning in hope of another collection.

Low in coins....just 540....thinking I'm going to have to pay out soon as I'm about to incubate 3 5km eggs

They could be working on Pacific time? So might shut down approx 1600 or 2000 our time?
It would be nice if Niantic just stuck to either GMT or Pacific time. Each event seems to vary in time zone usage.

Potentially some people are going to lure up the triple spot on dun laoghaire later on today. Someone on the whatsapp group said he was free and I'll drop some of my free lures too.

In case anyone else is interested in coming down/dropping lures too? Gonna party like it's the summer of 2016 again...

Thinking of starting at around 1ish apparently...

Cool to see that you are part of a PoGo group who organise like that.

Im looking through my pokedex, currently I am missing Unown and have no idea of how/when I will find one.

I was thinking of other 'rare' pokemon.
Hitmonlee, Hitmontop and Larvitar are my rarest, only ever saw and caught 1 of each. (I only got 1 Togetic through evolving one of my Togepi)

In comparison other 'rare' pokemon seem a lot more common in my game experience;
Muk is at 2. (1 wild catch)
Snorlax and Hitmonchan are at 3,
Lapras, Tyrogue and Aerodactyl are at 5,
Mareep and Miltank are at 6,
Chansey is at 7, (all hatched)
Porygon and Grimer are at 8,
Shuckle is at 10,
Tangela is at 11.

Want to thank whom ever posted on Silph Road that there was a Totodile nest up in Ballymun.....went up this morning and with an investment of a 2.5km walk I saved myself approximately 120km.
My feet and I thank you.

7 day lucky egg streak tomorrow with two new evolutions means I'll only need Unown.....as well as a Shiny!!

Overall good event, great points booster, nice Pokemon too, really enjoying it.....but now time to knuckle down and cut the lawn.

I'm an active player but haven't even heard of any WhatsApp groups etc operating in Dublin. Facebook groups etc here haven't been active in several months. Nice to see, though I'm not in that neck of the woods for today.

Got the last evolution item that I needed from my 7 day streak, a second metal coat. Also hit level 33. 1 million xp to level 34 seems daunting. Really liking the event. Magikarp nest near me in Naas will hopefully cough up a shiny.
