I feel your pain - I missed in two Lapras today :(

I got one, a whopping 270cp. The candies will be useful if I ever power up my best Lapras.

I caught a Stantler on the way home there. I'd never even heard of it.

That "new pokemon caught" feeling never gets old :)

Handy link for all the gen2 stuff, they have a gen1 version aswell.

A rare sight indeed - seen during my evening constitutional. Not sure I've ever seen this before. I've been spinning every stop I see too

I'm having the opposite problem here. I ran 9 incubators at once and when they hatched this evening I got eggs from every stop I spun...problem now is, I've got 6 of 9 2km eggs :(

Seems to be very little dropping on pokestops at the moment for me anyway , span a 100 yesterday evening and had no net gain on pokeballs.
Keeping a closer eye on it this evening most stops were only dropping one or two balls

Rookie mistake running 9 incubators. You never want to run on empty if not near a stop, so keep one spare for the infinite incubator.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,083 ✭✭✭rustledjimmies

But I've only run 2km eggs in the infinite incubator. My egg supply has been dwindling lately and tonight's walk finished off the last ones.

I'll use a limited incubator on 5kms sometimes to clear stuff out, but I always leave the last use for a 10km egg. 2ks only ever go in the infinite incubator.

Driving home with wifey besides me and she spots a lapras on the street. We both caught it, mine's been ground up into candy already - <3 wifey.

Currently at 231 caught 235 seen. I think I'm just missing unown now (have the candies for typolosion, and chiqorita evolves but no wonders yet) from Ireland. That'll bring me up to 234 caught 237 seen. And fingers crossed after my US trip it'll be 235 caught 237 seen (or even a magical 236/238)...

So this fella just spawned in my room as I was about to hop into bed... he obviously felt bad for what he did earlier

Fecking typical. 87 kilometres walked to get enough candy to evolve Grimer, and the next day I catch one in the wild.

I finally hatched a 10km egg worth something! A CP750 Chansey. I'm walking it now to evolve a Blissey, then probably walk it more to power it up. I run 3.8km every evening barring weekends so I get distance loads. I'm obsessed with hatching eggs though. I've been spending 12 euro or more on egg incubators every month. Sucks not being Mystic!

Power up your Muk maybe? I caught my Muk in the wild, at CP 1700. Attack not great but defence is amazing. I use it as a gym Pokemon mostly.

No, and I'm really not expecting to see him until Christmas.

Finally got my Dark medal. I can stop throwing berries at Murkrows just to get up to 200 caught. Like Spearow, I find Murkrow a little fecker to reliably catch easily.
(It was actually a Houndour that got me the medal!)
Now got 14 gold medals, 3 silver and my Dragon medal is still bronze.....

    233 caught/237 seen

I'm still on Bronze for Dragon and Fighting, and I have Silver for Steel, Dark, Electric, and Ghost. I'd probably have the dark one already if I wasn't so bored of catching Murkrow that I ignore them for the most part.

Have em all myself, bar Dragon and Fighting, not even broken the 100 mark on either.:pac:

Wondering what the best routes in Dublin are to hit pokestops?! E.g. a loop of 10 stops that takes maybe 5 minutes to finish including stopping for occasional catches.

Those pokeball supplies are dwindling rapidly haha.

One trip on the luas from Connolly to heuston can net me over 100 pokeballs

    +1
But with the speed caps it's not as good as it used to be.

I feel if I can't find a good IV cyndaquil during this event I'll cave and evolve a "certainly caught my attention" typlosion... so many low IV cyndaquils around :/

I'm having that problem with Growlithe, I've yet to get one that's a good CP/IV combo, despite going from 0 to 200 candy so far.

I caught an 84% IV one earlier this week but CP wasn't great.....I did hatch a 96% IV Cyndaquil at Easter though.

And just on Gen 2 egg hatches, it's pretty much been confirmed that they only hatched from eggs obtained during the Eggstravaganza. Gen 2 starters haven't hatched from eggs since. So not possible, just like the 10km Pidgey way back when!

Aw stop. Have only got two with good ivs and their cps were 11 and 84. Gave in and evolved a 76% one. Have 300 candy at the minute though so ready if a good iv high cp one wants to show up.
