That sounds so cool! But remember the 'doms and chutney is the starter. The wine is good too. Stay calm. Get the husband on the phone. Remind him about the fact that you have wine and curry waiting.:D

He got back, we ate loads. It can't be healthy to go from starving to full in the space of 20 mins!

Just ate a mad bowl of curry full of chicken, onions and mushrooms. I used some goldfish brand paste and added some chilli oil. No rice. Had a bowl of noodles on the side with it. Very nice.

    Buenos Noches folks!

Oh I remember the burger sandwich from childhood. Couldn't afford feckin buns.:D Tasted better in a way and if the ketchup soaked through the bread slices I was handed bog roll to clean it up.

Finally got a lie in, got up about 8.30, had tea, now having more tea and a pain au chocolat, while planning what to do with the loin of pork I have for tonight.
Thinking of rubbing soy sauce, lots of garlic and splash of chilli sauce and marinating for few hours.

43 days away from the wife's cooking, as I'm trying to follow a KETO diet, I got to dine on bacon rashers every morning, pork chops steak or chicken for dinner and cold ham for snacks.....
If only I hadn't drank so much beer, I might have actually lost weight :)
