I was curious as to what an incredipole was so I googled it. Turns out that it is a pole dancing school in New York!

It's going OK. New Swisstrax floor is enroute. So will be finished then; and ready for a 'Show 'n' Shine' meet, perhaps!

Just wait until I have my EXO applied :D

What's the story with Swisstrax? What are the benefits of that kind of thing?

    - Easy install / removal - get bored of the design / colours, change out a few tiles in seconds, 19 colours so your imagination is your only limit
    - UV, Chemical resistant
    - Drive on it, takes serious weight & hot tyres wont mark them
    - Non slip, self draining, silent step
    - Easy to maintain - there channels underneath so you can wash out, vacuum out or blow out any dirt and dust.....but even if its filthy underneath, it still looks brilliant!

Roughly €45 per sqm - 15 year guarantee with it.

Give me a shout if you want some! ;) Might know the Irish agent! :P Even if its only the 4 tiles approach :D

Driving to work yesterday morning, behind a cattle truck moving slowly, road too busy to pass, bit of traffic behind me.
A cow (or number of cows) decides to empty his bowels, straight out the back and spewed everywhere, no avoiding it, front of the car was rotten when I got to work, luckily it rained last night and most of it washed away.

As an aside, I pity the cyclist that could get caught in that scenario, no warning, just literally pure sh1t everywhere

It's gonna be a tough, full-on evenings for the car from today. Tonight it's a wash, detar, decon, clay, 1 stage polish, wash, dry. Then tomorrow after work it'll be wipe-down, IPA clean, G1 on the windows and 2 coats of EXO V3 on the car. Possibly will only finish around 12.30 tomorrow night, keep indoors and pick up again at 12 on Saturday.

    It'll be worth it though!

What polish are you going to use? Are you intending to remove the CSL layer too?

    Exo V3?
    No CSL ?
or is that on there already?

Nope, just want to freshen up the surface and remove any light scratches. I'll be using Chemical Guys V36. It'll give me the light cut I need with the gloss I need. It'll basically just be a quick once over as I did all the real polishing before the last application. Possibly will remove the old EXO too which I don't mind.

CSL is already on there. That got 1 coat of EXO V2 which will more than likely come off with this polish but I'm not pushed.

    Ah.
Was just wondering what the exo V3 would be like on its own.

I'd be very careful with it anyway, might still be enough cut with the right pad to remove the CSL to be honest!

Wouldn't think so. I have it from a reliable source that my normal combination of LC Yellow pad and Menzerna FG300/FG400 would itself take a lot of time to remove CSL.

I'm going to be using a Chemical Guys orange pad. While that is a tough enough pad, I won't be working on any panel long enough to remove CSL. It'll literally be something like 2 fast passes and job done. I'm expecting it will take me 5 minutes to do the whole bonnet which is nowhere near proper cutting time.

    What's stuff made from?

Curious seeing tile cutter in the videos, tough stuff needing one of them to cut them to fit.

Was thinking of painting new garage floor, when I find it again having moved house hahaha, have to compare costs.

I removed mine with FG400 and a Yellow and orange pad...

Some mobile car wash change bag "washed" about 10 cars in the car park in work yesterday.
He did some ****e job to start but there was a little shower that left all the cars covered in red dust!
the guy made over 200e for a few hours work but has totally burned his bridges.
I could only imagine what they would say if i told them I towel dried my own ...........

Plastic - to be precise "Polypropylene Copolymer"
A tile cutter is a bit over the top, a circular saw and jigsaw would be more than enough!

It was 12 last night when I was finished up. The water behaviour was that of videos of CSL so I'm gonna accept that I only took off the EXO layer which was my plan. All set for EXO application tonight. I just hope to God it doesn't start pouring rain :( I'll have to do a water wipedown anyway before IPA but what I really don't want is for the car to be covered in red dust as that will have to be properly washed off.

Fvck off rain.....at least until tomorrow evening!!!

Finished up the 1st EXO coat at 11ish on Friday night. Back in on Saturday morning at 7 for coat number 2. All went well with no residue marks anywhere thank god but at least if I come across any, I can easily polish the spot and reapply.

All done now for another 2 years :D

EDIT: Here she is just after the 1st coat of EXO. The gloss is rather good (no filters, just normal photo):
