    hi :)

we got a new bathroom extension.

where the builders broke into the old manhole wall to lay the new soil pipes they left gaps that need filling.

i have cement, sands, pva in the house, but do i need a admixture/additive for the mix

maybe integral waterproofer or sbr ?

If the patch isn't going to be exposed to water (as in funnelling away the waste) hen I don't see why simple sand cement won't do it. A splash here and there won't hurt it.

sand and cement will do fine. no need for water profer etc

leave the pva in the kids play room, it has no business outside of make and do

    ty for the answers, :)

guess i was paranoid about it all failing and blocking up drains while the cover is on hiding it.

@thepenturner i was gonna pva the gaps and pipe first as a bonding agent/key

pva is rubbish, its only good for cildrens play time

it is water soluble so if the water gets to it the bond will dissolve.
