My wife is looking for trousers for work, that aren't super skinny and also reach the ground / her shoe.

The trend for all of the trouser styles these days seems to be cigarette pants that are cropped at the shin. She doesn't want this style.

Any suggestions for brands / shops that sell longer trousers? Wool or cotton only, no polyester.

    Thanks!

Next do a great range of work trousers. The are great quality, the fit is spot on, wash well & they are reasonably priced. They have loads of styles & come in short, regular & long leg.

I must have tried about 20 shops before going into Next. I ended out buying the "Slouch" style in a long leg in all the colors.

Pretty sure I saw something matching this description in Next yesterday. Also M&S would always be an option for stuff like this.

M&S were looking good alright, but for the most part they are polyester. That's a big no no.

Banana Republic do wool trousers. Check Suiting section online.

The Maine New England range in Debenhams is good, specifically the "Pablo" trousers.

    I own six pairs myself!
