TicketMaster want to check your social media?

    Ticketmaster have some cheek spouting about "touts". I had 2 tickets for Green Day in Dublin that I cant attend. Wanted to sell for face value. To do this via their "Seatwave" site I would have had to set the sale price at a point €60 above face value to recuperate what I paid when you factor in their charges and "success fee". They're facilitating touting themselves. Sold them on adverts to someone who was happy to have them. **** ticketmaster.

    The title of the thread seems to be quite different to what your issue with ticketmaster is.

    Even if you are on social media how does this tell Ticketmaster you're a "genuine fan"?

    Also, it's a bit rich of the Ticketbastard guy to tell the reporter that touting is pretty much OK once we get our commission on Seatwave but other sources are "underground". I was almost waiting for a statement like "if you buy a ticket on on Done-deal you're suppprting criminal gangs and terrorism"

    Tickets are gone. I found another avenue to sell for actual face value. Ticketmaster remain scum.

    What happens if you're a 'genuine fan' of a band but you never mention it online? If your page isn't full of YouTube music videos do they refuse to sell you a ticket?
