I love the taste but am put off by the lumps. Is it possible to get a jar or Branston or equivalent brand that's smooth without the lumps.

They used to something called "sandwich pickle" that was smoother, but it seems to have changed it's name to "small chunk pickle" now ...

Ballymaloe Country Relish (it might be now called 'Original Relish') is lump-free. It's the same general flavour as Branston.

Ballymaloe is *much* sweeter than Branston, imo.

+1 I'd have said 'not as bitter' as ....

Wouldn't call it 'sweet' but it's all down to taste - figuratively and literally ;)

Branston definitely used to do a smooth version in a squeezy bottle.

We've had the squeezy one a few times, and also the small chunk one in a jar. I'm pretty sure it's still available.
