waxy shoe polish

This may seem like a stupid question, but....
I am used to using shoe polish that is waxy, almost like a mashed up crayon. This is the type of polish that Punch and other used to produce.
However, in the last few years, they have changed and Punch polish now seems like a paint that they have solidified. So when I rub it onto my shoes, it is like a applying a paint (note that this is still sold as polish - I am not talking about the shoe creams). I was OK, as a relative gave me a gift of a shoe polish set which had some of the old-style waxy polish in it, but now that has run out and I cannot find the old-style waxy shoe polish anywhere.
Does anybody have any tips on where I could find this?

Any shoe repair should have it im getting my at blanch sc (its shoe repair beside meteor dunnes) http://www.blanchardstowncentre.ie/simply-clean

The only brand worth getting is Saphir.

It's a bit more pricey and you have to order online, but it's worth getting. You can either use cream polish or wax polish, depending on how you like to polish your shoes. I'd also recommend getting the Renovateur cream which treats the leather and keeps it supple.
