No way of knowing if it's terror related yet to be honest. It could just as easily be some drunken fool.

No mention of any terrorist connection on nos.nl. A car driver who was stopped in front of the station where he shouldn't be was approached by police who had words with him, as a result of which he took off crashing into a barrier in front of the entrance to the metro.

The one in times sq was s drunken fool

I dont think that entirely conveys the truth. He may have used alcohol but

"“You were supposed to shoot me! I wanted to kill them,” Rojas, 26, allegedly told police, according to The New York Post. The motive: He may have been trying to commit “suicide by cop.”"

He was also charged with murder. Not an accident. This was pre planned. It may not have political motives so not terrorism under the definition.

Ongoing terror attack. That's utter hyperbole. Ongoing suggests sustained, live, still happening.

'Possible' means it may or may not be happening.

Not disputing that. It's the ongoing I have a problem with. Makes it sound like there's mad people still on the loose going around.

Once, for about 10 minutes. That was enough.

    Neither ongoing nor terrorist.

The reports that within 30 seconds the place was full of police is good, shows a strong response

There are often police at Centraal Station, usually to deal with some form of public disorder thanks to all the drunk and/or stoned tourists. It's also mainly a pedestrian area in front of the station, with trams passing through.

Easy enough to get caught up in a terror attack in Amsterdam. Last time I was there, 40,000 elves the size of king prawns were crawling up my legs with daggers in their mouths and the only way to survive this scene was to jump out the hostel window. Thankfully, sense prevailed in the end.

    Thread title is wrong..

Saw a brief mention of this on the ITV news earlier. Dutch police saying no suspicion of terrorism.
