Stander had the best chance of the game there.

I was expecting a lot more with the ball in hand from the supposed best club team in the world.

    Mako has played really well.

Watson looking very good at full back. Offering a real threat and can offload.

Has been the best fb by a distance for me. Williams is horrible under the high ball

They look like they are keeping their powder dry tbh. Especially in the set piece.

    Nothing wrong with Sexton there.

17 from the Crusaders didn't even try to go straight there.

    Just crumpled in.

Crowd letting the ref know the Lion's are all offside.

    And again.

    Ref not interested.

Crowd in Christchurch not capable of understanding a team with aggressive line speed

It doesn't matter which front 3 the crusaders have, the Lion's tighthead collapses. Coincidence? Coaching?

Another poor mistake from PoM, mixing the good with the bad.

They were well offside twice before the Lion's butchered their try.

Anyone know if this game is shown again or highlights later on mainstream channels? I don't have sky or anything like that. Just regular channels.

From my point of view, they are. They just aren't according to the ref. I don't think the Crusaders have gone backwards once, have they?

Will be 20min highlights on youtube by close of business I'd say.

Think sky solely own the rights to these games

Pas a bit low and hard, but CJ should have held it

They haven't gone forwards once either, unless you're counting forwards towards touch?

As with any game of rugby, both teams have been offside at times. Lions just confusing things by coming up much faster than the Crusaders are used to

    And again butchered

It's obviously a coached illegal tactic. Still keeps happening when the Crusaders change out their front row. Surprised it's taken up until this point of the season for the Crusaders to be exposed.

Should have scored a try there a poor decision to throw it out wide

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Crusaders offside?! Surely not! They wouldn't dare infringe on that golden rule!

Lovely break and pass from Sexton to get the Lions into that position.

Farrell should have kept it tight there.
