    Absolutely, we've all been there
    • A new controller is about €60 (maybe €100 if you go Elite) ...
    • A new console is about €250, so take out the price of the Elite Controller and it's only €150.
    • You get three games in the bundle, valued about €60 each (€180 total).
    • Subtract that from your price for the console (€250), taking out the price of the Elite Controller (€100) and the three games (€180) ... that's minus €30
    • So, Microsoft are actually paying you €30 to take the console

Now, you can use that €30 as part of a deposit on a Scorpio :D

Ended up getting FH3 bundle 500GB instead of Fifa with GOW4, Overwatch, the controller and €20 voucher so great value if you use the vouchers as well. €254.99

You cant argue with that value :D

CEX offering 110 for boxed console so I'll throw mine up for similar

Or you could keep the One for another room :)

That could happen...... I've quite the collection from the very first modded original to a few limited 360s. Although I'll eventually be called a hoarder :)

Anything I need to back up before I wipe the other one? I think all game saves are on the cloud or should I check?

No games showing on the internal hard drive at all so if I am right, I should be able to just plug the externals into the new one and log on my account?

Yeah saves sync to cloud and games should be fine on the external on another console as long as the account that owns then is present so wipe away , make sure all accounts have been removed when done.

If you had previously set your old console as your home console, then you may need to set it on your new console, just for when there's problems with your internet, etc...

I disagree with the games value, none of them are worth €60 at this stage, can be all gotten cheaper elsewhere.

Yeah, GOW4 is only €20 new in Argos, Overwatch €32.

Don't get the Elite valuation either at €100 - the €250 console comes with a regular controller worth about €50 with extra free €50 controller?

So I think if you sold the 2nd controller and all the games, you'd make back about €100 at best, leaving you at €150 for the console and controller, which is still pretty good.

Wait ... you mean that doesn't add up?
Ah well, too late, I've it ordered now and it's too late to take it back.
Next time, I'll double check the sums before ordering :D

In fairness, I think we've all at some stage used the back of the napkin math to justify a tech / gadget expense, no?

More along the lines of "Do I want to eat well this week or have new things? Right, cheap spaghetti it is."

I know it got a bad rap, but it was patched well, and really, if you haven't played it, it is worth a go. Besides, it's dirt cheap.

Yeah, if it was a fiver, I wouldn't recommend it, but less than a euro? Yeah, that's worth it.

Had issues with this with Game using a Parcel Wizard address. Try paying via PayPal, should go the through.

Excuse me being dumb and I'm sure my son knows what to do, but if I buy this, how does he use it to download the game

You will get an email with the code to download it.
