    I know Sinn Fein have ruled out doing their jobs, but if a meaningless pledge could help prevent a return to border patrols or even a fast track unification referendum, i think they might swallow their pride..

    Looking likely. Currently 56/44 in favour of No (removing the don't knows). One poll had No at over 60%.

    The SNP has to focus on running the country and forget about independence for now. They need to do all they can to better the lives of their fellow Scots and if the Conservatives keep on austerity and hard Brexit that will make their jobs easier for the next election. No use rushing when it is clear the current government is on the way down. If the Tories continue their current trend of attacking the NHS and social services, the Scottish Conservatives will be tarred with the same brush at the next election.

    Things really look to be dividing down the middle in the North now. Sinn Fein and the DUP are leaving the SDLP and UUP in the ditch.

    But that will never happen. And the SNP are cutting more than Westminster is.
