2017 UK General Election - 8th June

As discussed in the Brexit thread, probably best for a new thread on this.

It looks like it will be held on June 8th providing Parliament votes for it on Wednesday, which seems to be almost certain and can't personally see it being anything other than an increased majority for the Tory party.

Looking likely. Currently 56/44 in favour of No (removing the don't knows). One poll had No at over 60%.

The SNP has to focus on running the country and forget about independence for now. They need to do all they can to better the lives of their fellow Scots and if the Conservatives keep on austerity and hard Brexit that will make their jobs easier for the next election. No use rushing when it is clear the current government is on the way down.
