Don't know , will get to the bottom of this.

Fair to say they were wiped out.

Be interesting to see what happens to Alex Salmond.

Polls say he is going to loose his seat as well.

BBC have changed their forecast a bit from the Exit poll.

Tories predicted to get 322 seats which means May will hang on. Just a forecast though.

Maybe better if they do, if you are a Labour supporter. They will be in power for the Brexit negotiations and will be there to reap their 7 years of austerity as well.

  • So nearly 2.30 before the first reforecast. Tories up to 322 now. With 8 dup they could just make it work and struggle along but it's very dodgy for any length of time.

    Labour down 5 to 261
    Snp down 2 to 32
Lib dems down a few to just 13

Hmmm, that changes things a bit. Hard to see an anti-Tory coalition forming a government on that arithmetic.

Think that's the end of a second Scottish referendum.

I know Sinn Fein have ruled out doing their jobs, but if a meaningless pledge could help prevent a return to border patrols or even a fast track unification referendum, i think they might swallow their pride..

I'm also glad to see Philip Davies losing his seat, his attitude towards womens' rights (and the rights of others) was like something from the 1950s.

Why are the SNP getting a kicking?

Too much emphasis on trying to orchestrate another referendum and not enough on everyday issues that affect Scots?

There seems to be some tactical voting going on, and certainly a much more focussed pro union campaign this time round. The SNP caught the two main parties on the hop two year's ago.

Looking likely. Currently 56/44 in favour of No (removing the don't knows). One poll had No at over 60%.

They are afraid of Independence. The SNP are so over.

Because the people of Scotland voted on independence and said NO.

Yet the SNP keep pursuing it and the SNPs record in the Scottish Parliament is shocking.

Scotland ridiculous. Massive left wing majority seats being lost to the tories because of a vote split three ways. Pathetic vote management

Is tonight the end of May as British PM?

She's had an awful campaign. Job too big for her.

Wonder if I could get a bet on Boris Johnson being their Prime Minister before Christmas now.

The SNP has to focus on running the country and forget about independence for now. They need to do all they can to better the lives of their fellow Scots and if the Conservatives keep on austerity and hard Brexit that will make their jobs easier for the next election. No use rushing when it is clear the current government is on the way down. If the Tories continue their current trend of attacking the NHS and social services, the Scottish Conservatives will be tarred with the same brush at the next election.

  • Hammer blow to the SDLP. They've lost the Foyle seat to SF.

Negotiate a Brexit deal and have a referendum on that. Certainties under Theresa May such as an 'all out' Brexit are now gone.

That was the Lib Dems position and Labour would be seen are turning their back on the Leave voters. Labour needs those votes to have any hope of going back into power. There are no easy options now for either Labour or the Tories.

Things really look to be dividing down the middle in the North now. Sinn Fein and the DUP are leaving the SDLP and UUP in the ditch.

But that will never happen. And the SNP are cutting more than Westminster is.

When I saw the original face off poster I thought it was a sneaky one-nil two fingers to Corbyn.
Now it looks like numbers of own goals each.

10/1, but wouldn't fancy it, even at tenfold. All that fluffing around with his hair and babooning around every day would wear thin quickly.
