Emmerdale for me. As small village in Yorkshire (I think) full of farmers going out with super models.

Murder She Wrote. An old writer surrounded by death that solves the murders her presence causes. The local police are incompetent and rely on her to solve the crimes.

Every TV Cop ever with a big house and a flash car. Not a glimmer of finance/polyester to be seen.

Doctors in any programme set in a hospital having more than 5 minutes to themselves and not being run off their feet for hours at a time.

Star Wars seems a bit unrealistic/far fetched to me....

Friends. How were they able to afford those apartments in Manhattan, sure Joey didn't even have work half the time.

The cast of Friends. All happily living in 5,000 square foot apartments in New York City, while working as waitresses, part time actors, and museum attendants.

And they still find time to prick around for a few hours every day in the Central Perk coffee shop.
No no no this isn't right at all.

Edit: Ah crap, beaten to it already. Great minds etc...

Didn't the Angela Lansbury have a house in West cork, definitely a missed opportunity for policing here.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to scar you for life and reveal another Angela fact....

She once made a video for elderly people on the subject of how to relax and feel sexy into your old age. Here she is apparently instructing people how to masturbate in the bath.....

It would be easier to ask what people in film or TV are believable.

I've seen movies where women find Jack Black attractive.

Some one died in the last episode - look it up - made one of those most stupids death scenes ever.

And if you fecked them into your shed, they'd build a tank out of your old lawnmower. No one died in the explosions, they just flew a bit and got stunned, and they had them seriously ugly guns. The same ones in every show. Ugliest gun ever. The ugly guns used to bug me the worst.

Top Gun. A loose cannon pilot with an inferiority complex and Daddy issues repeatedly screws up and ignores strict safety protocols, conducts dangerous unauthorised flybys of the tower, ends up getting his navigator killed through sheer arrogance, but is then called up for a combat mission where he freezes in the middle of a dogfight due to a massive PTSD episode, yet recovers sufficiently to save the day as the enemy are sporting enough to allow him to recover first before attempting to blow him out of the sky.

Oh, and he finds time to bang a Navy contractor, which would probably be a breach of workplace relations.

Yeah he could be my wingman any time. Not...

No one ever needs a pee on TV either. I'm usually busting at crucial moments.

I watched Sylvester Stallone playing in goal yesterday in escape to victory. He saved a last minute penalty. Yeah Really.

Episode was 50 minutes long. So he had a 10 minute break every hour.
