We all know they do. Same happened in Northern Ireland. The communities turn a blind eye. Little Johnny is Mary's son, be grand, he's not the type.

sure look at the san bernadino case, plenty of neighbors had suspicions but were afraid to report in case they'd get branded a racist, this definitely goes on.

The point is is that Islam in western countries is wholly second to Christian beliefs in western society and I believe they can't stomach that fact.

It's the differences between them all, Jews with the OT and the Torah. Christians who follow the NT and the teachings of Christ.

They'res no ambiguity about Islam. It's the literal word of God, there is no room for interpretation.

The simple arithmetic is that you have your own homegrown, true-blue murders, and that's a problem to deal with. Lets say 10 murders, for the laugh.

Adding more murderers into the fact from abroad, or non-indigenous isn't a good thing, or something to be swept under the carpet. Lets say they commit 3 murders.

10 murders is better than 13 murders.

And inferring that the English are worse, therefore islamist based murders are okay........that's text book whataboutism.

The point, which you willfully miss, is this:

There's a disproportionate and irrational hyperbole about the 3 murders and not enough noise about the 10 murders.

    It's not "whataboutery".

There's been a dozen murders in UK in recent weeks completely unrelated to terrorism and they might make local news or sneak into a small paragraph on page 11 in a broadsheet.

But if it's a Muslim with a knife shouting God is Great in Arabic who kills even one person (Lee Rigby, for example) then there's mass hysteria, 24 hour rolling news coverage etc that wouldn't even make a splash without the religious motive.

The reality is the threat from Radical Islamic Terror is high but the actual body count they inflict in the UK is very low when compared to regular run-of-the-mill murders.

The more people get hysterical and act like it's the coming apocalypse, the more ISIS rub their hands together and see that what they're doing is working.

ISIS want people to call for banning Islam, they want calls for internments and deportations. They want ordinary Muslims to feel persecuted. Giving it to them makes the problem exponentially worse.

I don't see why people want ISIS to win and hysterical reactions are helping them win. People calling for internment, mass deportations, revoking civil liberties, restricting immigration and emigration - you people are part of the problem.

We are being sold out. At this very moment in time, the Russians are our only friends.

    ha! Stand-up comedian I see.

You honestly believe Russia have some idealistic opposition to ISIS?

Putin doesn't give a monkeys about ISIS one way or the other, he'll just as quickly arm them to the teeth if the wind changes and it suits his agenda.

The biggest problem facing the world right now is Donald Trump. His decision to arm the Saudi's and (likely) to move the Embassy in Israel and his ridiculous approach with North Korea are likely to cause chaos.

We will look back at 2017, despite these isolated incidents, as the good times. If Trump is not removed things will get far worse with ISIS.

Go back to the Breitbart comments section if all you want is sycophants patting each other on the back about how evil Islam is. I'm sure you're a frequent poster there.

I find that unlikely. Probably just a catchy tweet from someone.

I hope we can all agree that this tweet is an absolute DISGRACE.

He has no clue what happened yet and is using a terror incident to score political points and push an agenda.

Of all the shameful things this clown has done, it's right up there.

I think he is absolutely right, if this is what is happening now with people who grew up here then what will it be like in 20 years time. Putting a stop to Merkels refugee madness with European navies providing a taxi service would be the first steps towards real damage limitation.

Other limitation measures would be no religious schools, must all be mixed.

It's sad to see how these threads always turn into point scoring opportunities for different sides of an argument but It's not suprising anymore. People have died tonight at the hands of some sadistic evil people and my thoughts are with them and their families and also the people that witnessed it or ran for their lives in fear of being the next victim.

It is important to discuss the root causes behind these attacks and try prevent them

Now if we could only pinpoint the one thing they all have in common.

Its doesn't really tho, the chances are absolutely minuscule of being caught up in anything. Even with the increase in attacks.

London has a population of nearly 9 million and Manchester 2.5 million.

Of that 11.5 million, so far, 27 have died.

I wouldn't worry, or hesitate going in the morning.

Right but hundreds were holed up in restaurants and streets were barricaded and thousands on the streets were afraid. Quite different to say 7 people being killed in some car accidents or whatever.

Its more than just the terrorism. Have a look on youtube at what happens in the ghettos in parts of the UK, France & Belgium for example. There are sharia law patrols and women get harassed if they dont wear islamic clothing.

This is a much bigger issue than you are making it out to be

What's your genius idea for stopping religious terrorism then? Ban all religions? I say religious terrorism because, yeah, there are terrorist organisations with religious motivations in all religions.

Radical Hindu terrorism is on the rise. Radical Islamic terrorism has the highest profile. Radical Christian terrorism a huge problem in Africa and growing in America.

I know your focus is purely on the Islamic ones but how do you stop them? I'd like suggestions not wishy-washy diversionary answers.

Yeah our immigration policy is outrageous when it comes to Islam, letting in all these trained doctors, nurses, surgeons, consultants who account for 15% of the total amount of doctors in Ireland.

    They're Muslims just FYI.

See this is the thing you don't seem to get (or want to get) - Muslim immigration into Ireland has been overwhelmingly positive.

What do you want done? Ban immigration from certain countries? Ban certain religions?

A ban from non EU and non western countries could be considered for damage limitation, i.e US, Canada, NZ, Aus. And we can train our own professionals. We should be able to train and keep enough of our own to do it. Totally seperate issue.

Are you wilfully missing the point that about 80% of murder victims know their killers? Murder is almost always a personal thing, it's a spouse, a family member, an acquaintance. People being killed by a random stranger is fairly rare. A person(lee rigby) being beheaded on a busy street is extremely newsworthy, wtf are you on to think otherwise?

It doesn't matter about the "body count" from terrorist attacks being low (according to you), it's about the fact that people are targeted whilst going about normal activities - shopping, eating, drinking, listening to live music, going to a football match etc. Is it so shocking to to you that people feel a bit worried? It is literally an attack on a way of life. Calling people hysterical is gaslighting tbh.

And Isis want to kill people that don't share their views, that's it. They don't give a **** if people are "persecuting" Muslims, they are literally persecuting (and raping, torturing and murdering)Muslims already!

Listening to Mayor of London say how well the police (and emergency services) did and they did in fairness, he mentioned they prepare and practice for this.
We would be absolutely screwed if an incident like this happened. The police, the ambulance and emergency services just wouldn't cope. Imagine trying to get 7 dead and 50 injured (some critically) dealt with in our hospitals.

Europe as a whole needs to stop importing value systems that are hostile to ours. If you want to find solutions to world peace go ahead but its glaringly obvious what the problem in Europe is.

Take Poland as an example, no migrants, no terror attacks.

Most of the Muslim doctors in Ireland are from Pakistan so that wouldn't help us very much (and you're crazy if you think we can train nearly 3,000 additional doctors). Without them every hospital in Ireland would be in a state of emergency.

I've no problem if people want to advocate for something closer to the Australian skills-based immigration system but it can't be done on a religious test basis.

There's absolutely no factual reason to believe a Radical Islamic terror attack is inevitable in Ireland. We've had 0 so far. The UK is a prime enemy to ISIS and is a hop, skip and jump from here.

The chances of us being targeted are not even worth a moment of worry.

Ah I see. "The liberals are in favour of mass murder".

What are your suggestions so on how to stop all radical Islamic terrorism (of which we have had 0 in Ireland)?

All you have by way of suggestions are: "Stop them coming in" and "deport them", both of which are nonsense as all these UK attacks are coming from British citizens born in the UK.

Wait so both Poland and Ireland have suffered 0 Radical Islamic terrorism but you feel safer in Poland?

You're free to go live in Poland you know that right?

    Meanwhile, back home:

    https://www.buzz.ie/news/ira-bomb-plot-foiled-gardai-seize-explosives-dublin-240609

""A massive New IRA bomb plot was foiled" after armed gardaí stopped and searched a taxi on Spring Garden Street, Ballybough, Dublin, in the inner city at approximately 6 p.m. on Friday evening.

During the search, more than 5kg of TNT plastic explosives, detonators and other military grade items were discovered and seized. The two men, who are known to gardai, were arrested and are still being questioned at Clontarf Garda Station."

I'm equally as worried about the 25 year-old in Waterford you linked me to as I am for those clowns arrested in Dublin.

    Zero worries.
