Hey all,

I have a 2012 Renault Megane 1.5dci.

I just got a "low oil level" warning light on my dash.

What oil should I buy?

Have a look at the oil selector on castrol.co.uk

There's variations depending on the horsepower. Add the oil slowly, about 250ml at a go and then wait for it to settle to recheck level, too much oil can do damage too.

Renault dealers have a special on the correct spec 5w-30 oil for these at the mo.5L might do you for topping up and it's next service.You might check that it has not got a leak,these have a habit of leaking from the sump gasket.

5W 30 and must be C4 spec
