    Yea just bought it online, it will do rightly for me, hopefully i will have very little of these lambs left in two months i have 31 out of 132 gone, so if i can go with another 60 in next two months wont be too bad. i can dip a bit earlier if needs be.

    What are you paying for Clik and Clik Extra . Does Extra justify the difference ?

    My supplier still hasn't got it in, be interesting to see if he'll stand on price.
    He tells me that's aurivos price €289

    He also says they're the only one that have it in 5ltrs at the moment

    Yes aurivo has it in sligo at 289

    Thanks. Never knew there was a clik extra, though got it was only clik or clik extra. Clik extra gives great cover at 19 weeks

    Bought clik, worm dosing,mineral dose and covexin yesterday. Cost doesn't be long adding up.

    Lambs being sold in the mart in the next 40 days will likely be destined for slaughter.

    While you could announce it would be better to hold them until the 40 days are up as I'd say it's too early for stores and you'd take a hit on the selling price if fit for slaughter as they can't be killed until the withdrawal is up.

    Put Clik extra on lambs today,got one lamb with maggots above his tail,he was no way dirty either,didn't have gloves on when applying the Clik which probably isn't best practice for my own sake,do people here wear gloves,pull ups when using Clik?

    I wear gloves now for any job like that involving chemicals. I shudder to look back and think of the stupid risks I took when younger-and I'm only very early thirties. Its worth wearing them imo

    Do you use the proper clik gun? Farm shop told me to use a dosing gun with with t bar nozzle on it, will this do the job?

    Ya proper clik gun. It's s pain how clik and clikzin have to different size bottle caps.

    anyone use Ectofly Pour-On it's a lot cheaper than clik.
    also 7 day withdrawal period.

    I've had sheep struck with that on their backs. Never had one struck with clik.

    Was helping a neighbour with shearing yesterday. Seen half a dozen lambs with maggots. They were clicked properly(he is a thorough man) just over 3 weeks ago in dry conditions. Whether its the wet weather or not i dunno but he wasnt one bit happy. So keep an eye on stock people
