Commercial tyres for DOE/CVRT

Hi Lads,

Can't seem find what I'm looking for here so hopefully someone in the know may be able to help.

I'm trying to get a commercial Ford Focus van through its DOE but was told because of the weight of the van I would get away with normal car tyres?

Anyone here know for definite the regulations on this?

Normal car tyres will do.

Tyre type is decided by the maximum permissible weight of the vehicle. Each tyre will have a maximum weight rating and this is what you should go by to get the correct ones
