Weird storm squalls while I was in the office in Dublin today, but the weather turned nice and sunny by the time I headed home. Now chilling out with a nice G&T.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Been awake since half 5 this morning due to a throat infection but I'm not tired enough to go to sleep yet.

I got the most fabulous pair of shoes today to go with a dress my friend bought me. I haven't worn a dress in years, I normally hate wearing dresses but I'm actually excited about this outfit!

The "Wow!!" and sheer excitement on the face of a six year old I was talking to today, when he realised for the first time that people/humans were animals. It had never dawned on him before and the realisation was like a light bulb moment for him. His eyes widened, a smile grew and then the repeated "Wow".

Very trivial but my car has been signed into my name and I sorted out my own insurance. My life fell apart a month ago but finally things are coming together.

Also baby cuddles and baby smiles have been cheering me up for the past 24 hours 😀

Telling pointless lies to my niece years ago and listening to her repeat them now in company. And only realising that they were outrageous lies as she's repeating them.

Chatting to two elderly ladies on the train to Bloom, they were some craic. They travel the country on the free travel, delighted with it.

    Rescuing snails.

I think my work colleagues think I'm a bit eccentric (scratch that, mad, I don't have the money to be classed as eccentric). After it rains I relocate any snails that have wandered out into the yard to save them from being squashed.

I've always had an inordinate fondness for snails!:D

Not so happy that the touts have struck again and are selling tickets at 6 times face value nor the fake claims for free tickets.

My youngest usually falls asleep in our bed most nights and I lift her into her own when I go up. I love getting in to the warm patch she has left behind her :)

I don't know if it makes me happy or not but it certainly made me laugh this morning. You know when you do the same route to work at the same time each morning you see the same people most mornings. This morning I passed this woman about a half mile back the road from where I normally see her and thought "jaysus she must be running late this morning!"
Then I thought "what the actual f***!" and I just shook my head and laughed.
I may need to get out more :D

She nearly passed away before her first birthday.

    Joyous.
