Are they all 'noms de plume' for the same person (only I wouldn't know who that person may be)?

That's because they are not all the same person. ;)

That's because you mix in the wrong circles.

I just checked them up and you are correct!

I actually know this but I think the answer may be wrong. They were 2nd, 3rd & 4th last women executed in the UK. Don't ask me the order. This came up in a quiz I was at before and the answer given was the last 3 women but Ruth Ellis was the last.

Yes they were all women hanged in the UK. I left Ruth out as I thought it would have been too easy with her included.

    Lovely bunch of girls.

    Your question.

In case I'm right I'll throw another question in. What is Toru Iwatani famous for?

Ask another question - you still owe us one ;)

Ok you twisted my arm :)

I'm not sure you will find the answer to this in any book because it comes from personal experience.. but then again...

If you had young chickens and you saw a fox kill one and eat it and then run off. Supposing you only found the eaten bird and no fox, how would you determine it was a fox and not a cat etc?

I know they are supposed to bite the head off and scatter the feathers but there is something else peculiar to mr. fox!

I know they are supposed to bite the head off but not in my experience.

Having seen the fox make the kill without the assistance of an accomplice such as the said cat etc., unless I subsequently suffered loss of memory or a severe attack of stupidity I would ipso facto determine that it was a fox that did the deed. Of course I wouldn't necessarily be able to identify the actual culprit, as, like the Chinese restaurateur who was in a London court, unable to identify the man who assaulted him because all Englishmen looked the same to him, I have the same problem as regards identifying individual foxes.

P.S. That's a savage twist your arm got.

I have a vague notion about foxes defecating on/near their food, which cats don't. However if it is something else that is only known to your observation Kilk, we are not likely to be able to answer it. Can you keep your questions and answers a bit more factual please?

This is not a quiz question. I spent a lifetime dealing with wildlife and know signs of Fox kills but, really, that's not a quiz item. Foxes can behave differently in different situations. Must stick to factual items, please.

He was the game designer behind Pacman :pac:

    Forgot I owe a question.

What is the higher grossing computer game of all time? (Adjusted for inflation etc)

Ok guys I couldn't resist the question just for the challenge!

    Carry on....:D

I also have spent a lifetime with wildlife srameen but there is one thing a fox does that is peculiar to it, if it is not disturbed when it kills a bird. I have seen a lot of fox kills and all have had this hallmark.

    1. Rugby
    2. American football?
    3. Baseball?

More specifically each pair has a link and also has something in common with both of the other pairs

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,807 ✭✭✭✭Orion

    Rugby.

There's more than one sport in the list.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 32,688 ✭✭✭✭ytpe2r5bxkn0c1

Well, they are all rugby teams and all play in super leagues in their respective regions, but that doesn't seem to be what you're looking for if you say there's more than one sport.

1 out of 6. But that's not the answer anyway.
