you need to do more research.

    I don't really.

It's hardly my job to get to the bottom of 9/11!

I just think it's strange that there aren't 200 separate crystal clear videos of a fúcking jumbo jet ploughing into the words most secure building.

I can practically guarantee that if one hit my house, somebody somewhere would have it captured on video.

you didnt even know that there was video of the plane hitting the pentagon. that points to a lack of basic research. It means your viewpoint can be safely ignored.

I'll clear this little matter up for you right now.

I have a life to live, which requires a lot of my time - I didn't do any "research" and I'm not going to lie - I don't really intend to do much either.

If you haven't spent any time acquiring and assessing information, then best to avoid airing opinions which suggest you have :)

Because in 2001, video cameras were not the high-res, high-frame rate things we're familiar with today - especially the kind of security cameras which you're probably referring to. These older security camera typically use frame rates around 1-2 FPS which is not fast enough to capture a jet moving at between 500 and 600 MPH across their typical field of view (though there is some footage available).

BTW, the jet which impacted into the Pentagon wasn't a 747 Jumbo, but a smaller 757, the remains of which were recovered from the building. And the Pentagon isn't the "world's more secure building" but an administrative center for the US military. At the time, somewhere like Fort Knox would have been more likely to have taken the title.
I can practically guarantee that if one hit my house, somebody somewhere would have it captured on video.
Mobile phones with high-res, high-frame rate video cameras were not generally available in 2001. They are available now, hence your current belief about current possibilities - incorrectly applied to past possibilities.

I didn't air any opinion, or suggest I'd spent much time deep in the vaults of the NSA researching anything. I merely asked a question!

(Thanks for answering it by the way!)

Now we're getting somewhere - actual information rather than gasping disbelief of my television viewing, or my lack of independent research!(FWIW I don't actually watch much telly at all, I'd much rather listen to music than watch the telly:))

Damn my weakness for hyperbole - I should have said one of the most. The penatagon was and is one of the most globally instantly recognisable symbols of the American military - it was never just your average office building.
As for the plane being recovered - as I've said, I never looked into it much. I've just heard the conspiracy theory and thought to myself, hmmm that is a bit weird - then went back to whatever the hell it was I was doing at the time. I never really had a burning desire to get to the bottom of it!

I still think there "should" be much more footage by the way, but for no particular reason other than it seems like there should be.

High level UK government assistance in the Madeline McCann case.

I have always had a hunch that, both being from Liverpool, Kate McCann must have some sort of connection to Cherie Blair. Familial, friend, friend of a friend, whatever. There is no other explanation as to how a working class couple done well who found themselves in a shytstorm of their own making got so much assistance from the Blair government and the media.

Hardly a conspiracy for a government to provide assistance to the victims of a horrendous crime and the media exploited rather than helped the situation.
And what crime would that be ? Nothing has ever been proved to say they where victims ,

That the titanic ship was swapped for her sister ship in an insurance fraud.

I read about this one years ago. Seemed plausible if I remember right. I think it was the Odessa or Odyssey and it had been damaged so they swapped them.

It was the Olympia and the theory doesnt really hold water (pardon the pun). part of the theory is that during sea trials the Titanic was only ever ran at half speed because it was really the Olympia which had a damaged hull and so couldnt travel at full speed. Except the titanic ran at full speed all the way across the atlantic because its owners wanted to set a speed record.

Not to mention the hundreds of workers/employees who would have to stay quiet.

On a similar note, the Titanics 4th rear-most funnel was fake and used for storage. It was given 4 to look bigger and more impressive.

Indeed. part of the theory involves the titanic not being completed until after the olympia set sail. I'm sure there would be many shipyard workers wondering why they were still building a ship that had already set sail on its maiden voyage.

    Nonsense.

Adolf Hitler tried to grow a Willie O'Dea mustache but lost his nerve halfway.

I don't for a millisecond believe the MH370 flight mystery was a bizarre, unknown event. You cannot even move your phone these days without someone knowing or tracking you. The idea that a big plane that size could just vanish is not credible. The government knows exactly what happened there, we are being fed a big lie with the "mystery" line.
If you move outside of urban areas you'll often find that your phone isn't able to connect to anything or be tracked. Hell, even inside of Dublin you can't get full reception in some places.

The globe is vast, there are plenty of places in the world that you can't really be tracked in unless you spend a lot of money on specialized tracking equipment and then pay someone to watch over you.

And the the Indian Ocean / South China Sea / Andaman Sea area it lost contact and (presumably) crashed in is not only larger and emptier than most people imagine, but larger and emptier than most people can imagine.

Added to which there's the fact that air traffic control radars aren't search radars. They require aircraft transponders to be switched on and functioning in order to work. Then there's the curvature of the earth, which restricts even what search readars can see.

    A Boeing 777 is 74 meters long.

We have images of Pluto at a resolution of 80 meters.
We don't have anything like that resolution for most of the ocean floors.
