    So true.

I've no idea why I enter these events.

Last year a lad passed me and then he eased up on the pedals and stared hard at me. Then he asked me if I was sure I was alright. He was so genuinely worried I burst out laughing.

As we may never see each other again in the course of the day, how about a Boards photo at 7.55 to the right of the clubhouse entrance? A chance for a last smile before the agony.

Anyone a member of the Sorrento club?

Just wondering if the directional arrows for the various routes have been redone for this year?

Did a bit of the route last weekend and they don't seem to have been redone but they're still pretty visible in most spots.

    Why couldn't it sell out.

225km since the 28th March, this is going to hurt.

    Nice route though 😀

There is always plenty of parking space along the road outside of the school, but its better to come earlier to avoid a long walk to registration ;) Well, you can cycle it too..

    Fingers crossed....

Again, I'll be working but I do enjoy riding it as a permanent.

Hopefully one of these years I'l make the main event.

Is this harder or easier than w200?

The MB200 would be a good bit tougher than the WW200 as it has about 1,000m extra climbing. As there's also a lot less doing it, you don't get the benefit of regularly interacting with other riders. You could be several hours on your own!

(Not sure what the 100 and 160 routes are like).

Just passed through Shankill and there are fresh clear markings showing the way out and the way back

    200k at 8am, 160k at 9am - not sure about the 100k.

Did 160km last year, wrongly took the turn for the 200 (around 90 odd km iirc) and turned back after 5km or so of that, but there was nothing to stop me carrying on.
So starting at 9 wouldnt preclude anyone from doing the 200 imho.

Yes, but the 200 is an audax so you'd be putting yourself under more pressure to arrive at the control points within the allocated times.
