Looking for some help. Purchased a HGV in Northern Ireland and looking to get the speed limiter re calibrated to the Irish settings, problem is it manual setting not EDC. Its has been left into a truck center who can't do it, said there equipment doesn't "speak" the manual only edc. I'm looking for someplace that can do the calibration & supply the required cert to say the it has been done. Surely not the only one who has imported. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

What make and year? Unless it is antique one of the main dealers should be able to sort you out.

I though that speed limits requirement for speed limiters, as well as calibration requirements were exactly the same all among EU.

Why would there be a need for recalibration?

Have you or are you wanting to change the clocks?

Leave the miles one in. Should be limited at 55mph which is 90km/h which was recently changed.

Speed limiter for trucks in the EU (including Ireland) was always meant to be 90km/h

No I know as in old clocks here it was 55mph outlined on speedo.

But our wonderful gubernment do things stupidly.

Should have left miles anyway such rubbish and cost changing.

Well, what I meant it was 90km/h or equivalent in mph
Makes no difference, as speed limit should be set the same.
