Hi, I'm a 19 yr old female from Toronto. I've generally been around brown/hazel eyed people my whole life and have had a few encounters with people with lighter coloured eyes that scarred me. In my experience they've all been super rude, stern, and snake-like . I really want to travel to Ireland but pretty much all of you have lighter coloured eyes, any tips on how to survive or get over this trauma? I literally cannot hold a conversation with someone if their eyes are icy blue or green.
People with brown eyes with orange specks are fine!

All you can do is expose yourself to the fear and learn how irrational it is. You must know that not all people with blue/green eyes are rude etc. Have you never met a rude person with brown eyes?! Or have you just not noticed?

Eye colour in Ireland varies from blue to brown with everything in between.

if its any consolation the general opinion that I seem to see online is that Toronto girls are very rude so worst case you wont notice a difference :D , more seriously though Irish people don't really have that Nordic or German look that you might associate with blue eyes. We are a friendly lot by and large and Im sure if you do come over you will be beguiled by our laid back charm :)

A belief in gender identity involves a level of faith as there is nothing tangible to prove its existence which, as something divorced from the physical body, is similar to the idea of a soul. - Colette Colfer
