Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Tempted by Coutinho.

If Jesus puts in a good second half against West Brom I would certainly consider him v Watford

Sanchez is playing for the golden boot now on Sunday. Would be a crime not to captain him after his heroics over the past two weeks. Won me my main league.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,133 ✭✭✭Stevecw

There are a few games to go before Sunday, will wait until they are over.
The deadline this time is 2 on Sunday.....impossible to even start thinking about someone to captain on Sunday yet. Sunday morning is when we know where every team is at, who got injured in training/might be rested etc...then is the only time to know who to pick as your captain in the most crucial call of all.
No point trying to guess on a Tuesday

Yeah it's a bit early alright but we can still discuss the options available to us.

Currently neck and neck with my main rival, if we stay the same after tomorrows games it will likely come down to our captain choice. Both have Kane, Costa and Sanchez, with all three competing for the Golden Boot.

    Tempted by Kane, I sense a hat-trick

    Sturridge (MID)
Kane is low at 11.76%. I don't think ill be able to fit him into my team but he'd certainly be in my thoughts if he was.

After missing the deadline last Friday, I have Triple Captain for one final fling...
Thinking City will win big at Watford but Sanchez and Kane tempting..

Surprised by Kane's popularity, his away form is nowhere near his home form, only 5 away goals and all the big hauls were at WHL.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,672 ✭✭✭elefant

    Coutinho (MID)
    Sanchez or Vardy.

Look at you making me doubt myself.

Can't see myself taking it off Sanchez after the last two weeks.
Vardy would be very tempting but I don't own him.

    Leaving it on Alexis

Are you excluding the 31pt haul he bagged away to Leicester yesterday?

Kane is understandably the front runner in this poll following yesterdays performance.

24 points against Leicester. 7 against Man United.

    He posted that on Wednesday.

    True dat.

Still, his away form is less in doubt now imo.

    Aguero for me probably.

    Giroud (EVE)
Tough call between Sanchez and Kane, Kane edging it for me now

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,022 ✭✭✭✭Iused2likebusts

I think I'll go Pedro. Nothing at stake for me.

Sticking it on 'Arry'...... big occasion for him playing his last game for Spurs;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,969 ✭✭✭✭alchemist33

    Giroud (EVE)
Sanchez. His last two goals were tap-ins (I only saw the goals) suggesting he wants goals rather than touches on the wing.

    Giroud (EVE)
Sanchez for me. Here's hoping for fourth spot and a fighting Arsenal

    Oh go on then
    Kane

    Coutinho

    Givin it to Cout

    I'm doing the same.

Came down to a choice between Sanchez and Kane. Going with Kane as there is a slight fear that if Liverpool go nuts early against Middlesboro, Sanchez might be taken off with the Cup Final in mind.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

    Giroud (EVE)
    I'm going with Sanchez.

Very, very tempted with Hazard but there's a chance he won't start or will get taken off early. I know he could easily still rack up a double figure score against this Sunderland team, but I'll play it safer.

    Sanchez (C)
    Kane (VC)

Curse you. Now I'm second guessing myself.

    Pedro or Sanchez? >.<

Kane to secure top scorer spot?
Sanchez being 3 behind can't really think of grabing it right?

Can't see Sanchez do it to be honest but he should still be up for scoring today. Top 4 at stake.

    Gone with Studge

Bookies saying Sanchez over Kane but surely Kane will get all the service today to help secure the golden boot?
Currently on Sanch but really have a gut feeling for Kane again....

    De Bruyne (wat)
It's not the foolproof strategy that it used to be, but I'm going with it anyway:

    Always captain Aguero.

I don't know but sounds like your in the Chelsea dressing room so could you ask hazard if he is starting.

Stayed with Kane. Did not see the Chelsea line-up in time to make a last second change to Hazard. C'mon Harry make your golden boot shine even brighter with another haul!
