Hi guys. If flight lands on time is this enough?

Both planes are with sri lankan airlines so I'm assuming my baggage would be transferred over.

Another question: I will have about 9 hours layover in London and must bring my big backpack with me. Is there any storage at Heathrow or in the city? I want to be in tourist mode minus a 18kg backpack on my back all day.

Any info on the above would be appreciated.

Yeah that should be fine provided everything runs on time. I had a 50 minute transfer there a few months ago also with Sri Lankan and it was no problem, the gates are close together and the security screening is at the gate rather than centralised, took me about 10 mins altogether. Your baggage will be transferred if it's the same ticket, if not ask. With the tight transfer time there's always a chance it doesn't make it. It'll be sent on the next flight usually.

Heathrow has left luggage facilities alright, just look for the desk - http://www.heathrow.com/airport-guide/terminal-facilities-and-services/left-baggage
