    Hi Folks

Going to have a look at this Skoda Octavia 2011 1.2TSI SE basic spec, plastic steering wheel, alloys, no front fog lights though.

Is this a UK import or NI import, its within my budget of 9k

Also should the timing belt and water bottle been changed out at the mileage of 79k miles, I think its supposed to be done at 50k on Octavia petrols??

Any feed back? Bazz or Colm Mc what you think?

SE is a UK trim level, also the speedo is in mph and it's not on Irish plates. Irish models would be Classic, Ambiente, Elegance and RS. No mention of service history so insist on seeing it as it would be very unusual for a UK car not to have a documented service history. Also get the old UK reg and run a full history check on it to check for insurance write-off information and a free MOT check on https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/ to verify the mileage.

Those have timing chains not belts, usual story with chains, not supposed to need replacing but they can stretch and fail, key to keeping them healthy is service on time with the correct grade oil, so as already mentioned service history very important
