Hopefully United won't spoil the party and we'll at least get the one point we need to secure second place and stay unbeaten at the Lane in our last season there......coys.

    Last ever game at WHL

Chance to finish the season unbeaten at home for the entire season.

1 point needed to virtually secure 2nd place thus improving on last season.

A whole host of events before and after the game, ex players and managers in attendance etc.

We can't f**K this one up surely.

This is definitely a game we should be looking to win. Last day at the Lane, we've been the better team all year, and Utd are struggling with injuries. Absolutely no excuse to not go out and go for it. I won't get to see if unfortunately, but will be keeping an eye on the updates as i can.

    3-0 Spurs.

Utd upped there game when we played them at Old Trafford. Currently 6th in the league, can't afford to play safe. Style of football, they don't have one, other than to bore the opposition.

Herrera is a snake. If Dier is starting, don't get snared. Pity Danny Rose is still out injured. Mkhitaryan has a habit of scoring against us.

No team talk needed for this one.

I will miss the "Lane" :(

Wonderful memories through many years down there.

my own favourite was early 70s, when we won UEFA Cup.

The team got presented the trophy on the pitch, and they held Alan Mullery up on their shoulders.

Then we all ran on the pitch to thank the players and somehow we ended up carrying Mullers around on our shoulders.

We were doing this for a while when Mullery realized all the other players had already left the pitch already.

He quickly asked to be put down, the sprinted across the pitch with the cup in his hands.

I had never seen him run that fast before and he never did again.

    Great night.

I will never stop loving Spurs :)

    Bye Bye "The Lane"

    Thanks for the memories

    Tripper starts

    Walker and Dembele on bench.

No sign of Rose, thought he might make the bench.

Looks like Jose is parking the bus against us. 6 at the back.

... Not really, 3 at the back and wing backs but it's very defensive. Carrick and Rooney in cm.

Unbeaten at home this season, brilliant.

We kept Chelsea as honest as possible this season and Leicester last season.

Great way to finish at the lane.

Proud of the lads and all our supporters :)

Had my dinner after the match was over and recorded the ceremony that's taking place afterwards. Just seen Berbatov taking a selfie. Starting to feel quite emotional.

In that case you better get a full box of tissues for Ginola's entrance

Not that it matters all that much, but if Chelsea do the double, will it be us or Arsenal in the Community Shield next August?

Super farewell to the Lane. Notable absentees included former greats Lineker, gazza, hughton, bale, perryman, klinnsman, venables, greaves.

Slightly surprised at the inclusion of Simon Davies and Stephen Carr in the ceremony given that they're unlikely to find themselves in any spurs fan's list of 'legends'.

Lineker prob could not due to to contract, gazza is prob either drunk or trying to sober up, bale would not be released, the rest I am surprised by, was Richard gough there,

Gazza was invited but turned it down as he's recovering, he made a statement saying sorry that he wasn't well enough and had a very tough year with a nephew dying

The one I'm most surprised to see missing is Steve Perryman. Any idea why he wasn't there?

Surprised at Justin Edinburgh and Simon davies, Simon Davies even looked surprised to be there.

    Teddy, 51, looks about 30.

Delighted Steve Carr was there. I had a Carr and number 2 jersey as a young fella.

He captained the club, wore the jersey for 13 years and won player of the year twice (1999 and 2000).

Yes, the absence of Chris Hughton & Jurgen Klinsmann was odd.

Klinsmann was there couple weeks before at the Arsenal game, which was strange,
Hughton is very strange and galvin too, I would love to have seen gough, I used to think he was the dogs you know what until he went to rangers

Paul Stewart must have spent the last 20 years drinking and then cliff jones at 82 runs onto the pitch,

That's right - I forgot about Tony Galvin.

Kudos to Cliff Jones (aged 82) for jogging on while others walked slowly on. What a class act.

I could not believe the size of Clive Allen. *_*

Tony Galvin was there and introduced as 'that rare thing - a footballer with a degree in Russian'.

In fairness who would blame Paul Stewart if he was drinking for the last 20 years after what he went through - at least he showed up, unlike Gazza - hence he got one of the loudest cheers of the evening.

I missed Galvin, I may rewatch it on Spurs YT channel.

Fair play to Paul Stewart for making it there.
