    Coutttttttt!
Thankfully Sturridge had a lot of time as he took his time to finish it.

Yes! Sturridge. The man continues to have it. Makes him all the more frustrating.......

With everything that's gone on this year that was a superb calm finish. Fair play

West Ham shouldn't have played him onside there, bad mistake. Great pass and finish though. Please get another couple soon. Please.

Need to keep going here - this is a poor Hammers team, need to kill them off.

If I've said it once, I've said it 100 times, that's why Danny should not be sold until we are absolutely sure we've 2 better finishers up front.

I never doubted him in that position.

Perfect time to back a 2-2 draw!

He's just miles ahead of Origi in his movement, link up play etc. Origi has all the physical tools, but I'm not sure he'll ever be the player that Sturridge is/was when fit.

    Ice cool Danny.
4 4 2 has benefits too of course........... the 3 up front tripe is torrid at times.

I was celebrating as soon as he got the ball, no doubt in him finishing that.

Is there a better player one on one in the league.

    Most strikers aren't

It's still only his second league goal all season, he can't stay fit for even remotely enough time unfortunately.

    Also, that's a proper striker's run.

The second he saw it was Coutinho on the ball, he got into position for the pass. Instinctive.

Agree entirely, just unfortunate how his body has let him down which is not his fault despite what many posters here think.

Why are we getting corners onto the heads of our own players? That isn't normal.

Should be managed like Paul McGrath was.
More or less no training, just pitch time.

3rd. :) But yes he should be sold while he's still fit. There's a bunch of fine strikers out there in Germany and Brazil who can be bought for as much as Sturridge would raise.

He's been fit more often than he's been on the pitch.

Waits for Danny to break a sweat and be out for a good 12 months

    Matip is Missip

Origi is so far off the pace.

Strange to see a Liverpool dominating set pieces.
Origi still miles off the pace.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,888 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Coutinho throwing his arms up at Origi there, and rightfully so. So fúcking poor there.

Quite like the job Can is doing in breaking up play today. He really is great at that. Its when he's asked to do the Henderson type stuff and pass the ball 90 times a game that he seems to have issues.

Combative, destructive, all action type stuff and he's excellent.

    Wishing injury on a player.

    Well done you.

He's an old fashioned striker imo.... that's the way he is. He'll chip in with goals but he's on a bad run lately. normal for strikers.

Why does the ref want Liverpool to win?

Why are the Liverpool players allowed to elbow the west ham players?
