I think France's insistence on singing in French harms their chances with an international audience.

How could someone that good looking be so unsexy? She looks awkward as hell

That's not a bad tune either in fairness

    Belgium had no gimmicks either.

The only thing with Belgium is that she looked terrified and was singing far too low.

The French are certainly more willing to include English lyrics than they were when Sébastien Tellier represented them... ;)

I would normally agree , but singing in French doesn't hurt this actually imo.

I love it that they sing in French! I think it's great when a country sings in native language.

I'm watching from Paris though so I might be biased :p

She could be singing about potatoes it doesn't matter, it's a visual feast, not for the ears so much.

The only thing with Belgium is that she looked terrified and was singing far too low.

I got the impression that was on purpose.

    She is well rehearsed.

Gotta be Portugal, Bulgaria, Belgium in the shake up , but personally like Austria but it won't figure I guess !

Bulgaria has it in the bag

Honourable mentions for Romania, Croatia, and Sweden.

Belgium was a tune but she bottled it.
