A latecomer to this series, and as a big fan of the Terminator movies, I approached it with some trepidation, but I needn't have worried. A few ropey episodes, only to be expected, did nothing to spoil my overall enjoyment..

Summer Glau as the 'good' Terminator stole the show for me and it was nice to see that she picked up some awards for her acting. I watched the final episode last night and it left the way wide open for further series but it would need to happen soon. Will it?

I enjoyed it. at least they had time to wrap it up.

I liked that series. I think it was salvation coming out that got it cancelled.

The last episode looked cool because of where .. and when :) .. it went. They had angled a new story arc into Terminator with that other group.

Wasn't perfect, little bit cheesy at times and suffered the constraints of TV budget, but still the most interesting thing to happen for the Terminator franchise since T2.

Another season would have been great.

It actually did seem to be a fairly low budget affair, even by the standards of TV of the time, which did somewhat hurt a 'Terminator' show - it was more like a product of the 90's than 2007/2008.

Still though, it was pretty good, the dynamic between John and whatever Summer Glau's model was called was really good and was going extremely interesting places before the cancellation.

It finished 8 years ago so I doubt it.

The entire cast have long moved on.

Didn't Thomas Dekker also have a bit of a public meltdown around then as well drink driving and hitting someone with his car.

Lena Headey (Sarah Connor) is busy with another show that's rather popular these days. They wouldn't be able to afford her.

She declared herself bankrupt only a last year I read so she might want a second gig.

Thanks, I had no idea she was in "Game of Thrones" until I looked it up now - not my cup of tea. :)

If you're into gory b-movie slashes, Dekker, Heady and Austin Green appeared in the Laid to Rest films shortly after, they were pretty damn good for what they were.

No thanks - I'm a behind the couch man for anything gory.

Just had a look on Wiki and that's a definite no, no!

Brian Austin Green was great in this series as was Lena Headey.

It appeared to have practically no budget and nothing happened plot wise for a long time as that would have cost money.

I thought that (Shirley Manson) Catherine Weaver was terrific too - a nice balance of sinister and yet intriguing.

It's been years since I've seen them but I'm pretty sure that even by the standards of such fare, they were almost excessively gory!

Great fun though, if you enjoy those types of movies.

Was okay but suffered from poor writing and dead-end storylines. An Aussie on YouTube (littlejimmy835) has made some interesting observations on the terminator franchise - along with others - so it's worth checking out.

SCC could have been great but unfortunately flopped.

Thought it was a turd myself, really never understood why people appreciated this as a serious part of the franchise.

Full of utterly stupid and laughable scenes, and I think whoever wrote the scripts never actually watched any of the movies.

My favourite WTF moment is Shirley Manson deciding that disguising herself as a urinal in the mens toilet for god knows how long was her best option for taking out one of her opponents.

Or the woman who's husband got replaced by a Terminator for I think a period of weeks? She thought he seemed a bit off...

There was one decent episode that had Patrick Kilpatrick playing a terminator, and it was only decent as he was basically channeling Arnie from the 1984 movie.

Unfortunately as usual, terminator of the week was killed off easily using the magical depleted uranium shells.

    It had no budget.
I remember the TV series Angel had a DVD commentary and they mentioned that they had a budget of about 1 million dollars per show which wasn't much but allowed them to do most of what they wanted.
TSCC was only given a fraction of this and it limited what they could do.

It is like Fairly ****ty. Is it ****ty because it just is or partly because they have no money to do better.
