Buying a piece of land at bottom of my garden

There's a small patch of no mans land at the end of my garden that backs onto a metal fence. Its about 10 foot wide. We have been using it as part of our garden since we moved in 21 years ago. How do we go about adding it officially to our property.

    Thanks!

    Find out who owns it,
    Discuss a price,

Contact solicitor, see charges, and they will contact the current land owners lawyers.

Legal fees alone could be up to 1000 including land registry fees
