I love seeing players in context of one another.

Tipuric is between CJ and Billy. All three are backrows, but the size difference is scary.

Dan Biggar been on the pies?

You know you're carrying timber when you stand next to Tadhg Furlong and have a bigger belly.

Greg Laidlaw looks in even worse shape.

It'd be a better picture if they had a real Lion

Going to sound like a stupid method but do we know who's been fitted for jerseys? That may give us an idea of who's in the frame to replace bigger. Like for instance if a back rower got injured vdf would be up there to replace them as he was fitted for a jersey

Loads of players are fitted for jerseys, way more than will ever be selected. I think there is like 80-100 players or something who sign contracts making themselves available and have their photo taken in the kit etc. Basically anyone with a remote chance. Most of them are obviously cut when the squad is announced.

Yeah I know but if 80 do and there's 40 in the squad that means that there's 40 possible replacements which narrows it down from the 100's of players. For example I doubt more than 3 10's not in the squad were fitted so that would narrow down biggers potential replacement a lot

Saw a picture of Sean O'Brien today sitting with Rala. Does this mean Rala is touring with the Lions despite being retired? Would love if it was so.

If Biggar is ruled out I imagine Russell will be the one to benefit.

Jonny Sexton just asked him did he know what day of the week it was. ;)

Jonny Sexton just asked him did he know what day of the week it was. ;)

He's just realised he's sitting between 2 of the midweekers and is wondering if he's in the same boat?

There are a good few I don't recognise without their scrum caps or different hair cuts.

Second left in the front row?

Pretty sure that's Jonathan Davies minus the scrum cap. Actually looks quite like Ben Youngs there which confused me for a minute.

As a guide, the front row is made up entirely of guys who went on the last tour.

Maybe that's how Gatland picked the squad? Biggest jersey size in each position goes on tour.

That was a joke but the way before people point out something like haskell is bigger than tipuric

Couldn't figure out who the guy at very top left was, but it's Jack Nowell.

    The state of him.

The feckin SIZE of Billy vunipola.

He'd need a whole row to himself on the plane

Why did they stick laidlaw in the back with much bigger lads? Very outhe of place.

Should have sat him on the lion :)

Surely robshaw and haskell are the next two in line or launchbury depending on who's injured. They prob wont bother calling up any after that, unless 3 guys get injured very early on.

In a homage to the great Ospreys teams of the past, it appears Rhys Webb had a day at the tanning beds before the shoot

Going by the pictures, I think we can all agree that Dan Biggar definitely isn't cut... ;)

Never mind that, Rhys Webb looks more of a flanker than him!

Rugby, a game for all sizes.

Did someone mention something about Billy Vs size? Time to bring this post back so

I think Simon Zebo should have been on the panel. I'm a Munster fan but I'm the first fella to criticise him when he does wrong and while I don't think he'd have been good enough for the starting 15 for the test games, I think he would have been a great starter for the warm-up games and a good sub for the tests. He's a bit light and not a fantastic defender but if you give him the ball close to the line he'll finish it 9/10.
