    Grant. Grant the dog.

Also on all things Grant related why are there no babies call Grant? Why do all Grants come into the world as 33 year old Estate Agents?!

I was walking to my brother's house one day and passed a woman on her doorstep shouting "Robert! Roooooooberrrrrt! Robert". As I crossed the green I passed a few young kids and said that Robert's mother was calling for him and he best go home. Yeah, Robert was the dog.

My dogs name is "Baron Wilhelm Von Weinerschnitzel III", it got tiring shouting it in the park so it was eventually shortened to "Billy".

I know a fella who called his dog 'same as you'. So when you'd ask him the dog's name he'd say 'same as you' and you'd say your name and he'd say no 'same as you' until the penny dropped. The man told that 'joke' for 14 years every time he was asked his dog's name yet I don't think he ever got tired of it.

Dunno if there's any wrestling fans here but a guy on my road had two menacing looking boxers called Faarooq and Bradshaw. They were the most bad ass tag team in WWE in the late 90's.

I feel so sorry for a dog that was adopted by a woman who decided to call him Boy.

Ireland is the only place left where you still hear Lass, Rover etc

An Asian ladies dog I met in Stephens Green was called Noodles. Thought it was real cute. Mine was called Milhous.

Repent. Make sure he's the kind of dog that likes to run off. Then ask your atheist neighbours to look after him for the weekend.

I like it when they're named after book/film/TV characters, it's a great way to get talking to people if they get the reference!

My Ma called our little dog 'Roots' back in 1980, because he was black. Never so much as a raised eyebrow.
