Qualifying as a barrister in England

    Hi all, just wondering if anyone with an Irish law degree went to UK to qualify? Were you fully or partially exempt from academic stage? Thanks

    Generally you qualify here and are admitted into the uk bar.

    They have chambers, its very different and they are heading for brexit so most are coming here not the other way round

    And a law degree doesnt exempt you from entrance exams here. Not sure about the uk

    Thanks - yeah, brexit has me somewhat put off.
