I did have some arsehole in a '97 Opel Corsa make gestures at me in his rear view mirror yesterday evening... after which he look a right slip road (I was going straight) but then swerved his car toward my bike as if trying to give me a scare.

I just felt sad for him.

This nutball is back behind the wheel again and is back on the road.
He was seen out in the car last week driving all over the place and the gardai have yet again been informed.

Will the gardai take him off the road if and when he kills a biker or another road user?
Does it take a death to get gardai to act and get this muppet off the road for good?

There have been a number of reports during the week of motorcyclists being deliberately targeted by a silver car. This includes the silver car deliberately pulling out in front of them and swerving in and out around motorcyclists to prevent them overtaking.
The main area for this activity has been the Wicklow Gap road (R756) between Laragh and Hollywood.
Report any such activity to Gardai.

I just read through the thread. I'm assuming he does not have a licence, tax or insurance due to his mental health problems but how does he have access to a car? The man clearly has severe mental health issues, how come his family or the state have not intervened to have him hospitalised indefinitely? (obviously, this is a rhetorical question)

If it's the same individual of who I think it is . He has been hospitalized and had cars taken off him . I think he s even laid down in front of cars and what not
