Dammit…I thought this thread was meant to be a black ops effort until 7:59pm.

    Anyway, seeing as it’s here:

    Caballero

    Bavies Yoshida Alonso

    Alli Sanchez (C) King Sane/Pedro

    Giroud Jesus Kane

    Subs: Pickford Sane/Pedro Darmian Holgate

Edit: forgot after two weeks of no hits that I'm on a -8

All a bit templatey I know – only decision is whether to start Sane or Pedro (??) Leaning towards Pedro at the minute….although if Aguero is out that might alter things I guess

3 of your bench have a DGW next week so BB would be better then ?
Unless you are saving TC for 37

    Jak
    Stephens Berty Alonso
    Sanchez(TC) Alli Eriksen Hazard Sané
    Costa Jesus

    -12

Had planned to use TC next week but on second thought it might be better to swap them and use it this week instead

Was there any reason given as to why Pieters was dropped last week? He's normally pretty nailed, no? He'll be on my bench but considering using AOA for the event that only 2 of my 5 defenders start (Valencia, Stones and Pieters all looking dodgy).

    -4

    Heaton
    Alonso Davies Yoshida
    Alli Sanchez(c) Hazard King
    Lukaku Kane Jesus

    Pickford Ward Prowse Holgate Chambers

Only 2 dgw' starting with Ward Prowse on the bench, couldn't see the value in dropping any of my front 7 for him

I don't have BB left, and am leaning towards next week for the Sanchez TC.

Any opinions on if that's wise? Fixtures are better next week, but Arsenal could be finished by then too.

    Who should I bench from....
    Bailly (ars)
    Kompany (PAL)
    Stephens (liv, ARS)
    Maguire (SUN)

Tempted with Bailly, as I already have DDG in nets, am I being blinded by Stephens DGW?

I'd defintely wait until next week.
Sanchez' fixtures are better but you also have the option of Jesus (LEI, WBA) or Hazard (wba, WAT)

I don't see Southampton keeping a clean sheet, I'd bench Stephens.
I have Bertrand myself, but not expecting much from him.

    Ddg
    Yoshida Davies Alonso
    Ozil sanchez Pedro alli hazard
    Jesus gabbadini
On -8 Sanchez captain. I'm hoping to bank next week and have 2 for gw 38.

    Jaku
    Alonso Monreal Kompany
    Sanchez(c) Hazard Alli Siggy King
    Kane Jesus
    (Valdes - Brunt Anichebe Britos)

    Took a -12:

Jesus, Sanchez, Monreal and Anichebe in for Aguero, Zaha, Bailly and Negredo.

I gave in to the Sanchez fear.

    WildCard.

    Cabellero.
    Monreal, Stephens, Alonso.
    Hazard, Sanchez(c), Alli, King.
    Kane, Jesus, GabbyDabbyDoo

    Pickford, Bavies, Dawson, Albrighton.

Nursing decent leads in money leagues and should hopefully have main rivals covered.

    Bavies Yoshida Cook

    King, San(c)hez, Pedro, Alli

Just been chatting there about football to the absolute casual spoofer who is somehow 150 points ahead of me in my work league.

I'm 99.9% certain now that he has no clue that Spurs-West Ham is on tonight so feeling all smug now being that I've already taken a -8 earlier in the week.

No doubt he'll still comfortably outscore me with no DGW players or planning, and have someone like Robert Huth autosubbing in with a freaky 23 point haul

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,027 ✭✭✭COH

Lads.. is it madness to have three DGWers this week and play none of them? i Have Gabby/Yoshida/Stephens in my WC team but think I have a better chance of points this week playing without given their fixtures?

    Team as it stands:

    Caballero (Pickford)
    Vertongen/Monreal/Gabriel (Yoshida/Stephens)
    Pedro/Sanchez/Alli/Sane/King
    Costa/Jesus (Gabby)

    Heads wrecked!

You slag him....call him casual..and yet he's 150 points ahead of you. 150 points is A LOT.

You sure he's a 'spoofer'????? Or are you just doing awful???

I'd normally edge on the side of the DGW player but with the players you have its pretty close so I think it is fine to go either way. I would definitely be starting Gabbiadini though.

Ahh it was tongue in cheek to be honest....I'm having a fairly crappy season and he's kind of winged his way through it and frequently admits to forgetting to change captaincy, make transfers etc

Wildcard Played. A lot of these wildcard teams are fairly similar from what I can see and mine is no different
    Caballero, Pickford
    Yoshida, Stephens, Holgate, Smith, Lovren,
    Hazard, Ali, Sanchez, Boyd, Can,
    Anichebe, Kane, Costa.

Worrying lack of Man City players but the die has been cast and there's no turning back now. Have slipped to third in my main money league having led all season. Neither of the top two has the wildcard chip left though which should see me make gains over the next couple of weeks.

    Tonight will tell a lot
Guy in second has 3 chips left (well he only has 2 but he thinks he has 3 ! )
    Aguero is captain
    Rashford is vice
I'll be suprised if he changes before deadline
    Usually a Saturday morning man

-8 and harbouring wildcard envy, but how and ever:

    Jaku
    Bavies Holding Yoshida
    Eriksen Sanchez Ozil Sane
    Jesus Kane Costa

    Foster, Mee, Holgate, De Roon

Holding was an enabler for Aguero when Ibra got injured. Not confident of him starting so the above should probably read Mee, or more likely Holgate with injury concerns over the former.

Not feeling inspired this week TBH. Really hoping Sanchez delivers the goods. Southampton also concern me to.

    Heaton
    Valencia Walker Cédric
    King Sánchez (TC) WardProwse Alli
    Vardy Benteke Kane

    Nervous times.
