Labaik has halved in price from 16s. (unless Jack has a taser tzzz tzzz, then its going to plant itself again).

Davy Russel takes the ride on Labaik, just for fear that there wasn't enough dodgy connections involved :D

Bit of a move in the bumper on Pipes horse, Warthog, having been bought out of Denis Murphy's yard in Blackwater.

If theres a gamble going on, Davy invariably manages to stay on them, which is more than can be said for his performances this week which have been mainly on the deck or out the back.

The owners son of Warthog said he'd close his twitter account if it was beat on debut. Duly beaten

Because we have money on it?

Meant to add that caveat, but the media are pushing it down our throats like people care (who dont have money on).

Ah it's an interesting little subplot to the week. No harm done bigging it up to the casual fan.

It had a massive influence on the outcome of races today.

If they hadnt been jumping hurldes and fences, you could have been forgiven for believing you were watching the Shergar Cup, such were the team tactics on display.

If Paddy Mullins needed any motivation to win today it was when Mick Fitzgerald stuck a microphone in his face and told him how much a foregone conclusion the amateur champsonship was for Jamie this year. And fair play to PW, he told Fitzgerald what the gap was when he came in on Bacardys.

If anyone needs to see where interference is not really interference( and I didn't have a bet on the race)

Have a look at the replay of the 17:20 Limerick today on attheraces website
the winner O' Brien's Homesman nearly knocked over 2 horses
But the stewards felt the interference didn't affect the placings

Untouchables, stewards were probably on the winner.

To be fair she eased up on the winner. I know she bumped them both and should have been thrown out but I think the stewards took into account that she virtually eased him up close home

I agree. Very very tough one for the stewards. Best horse in the race won.

Labaik to be seized by CAB today according to some of the rags! Wonder if CAB will need the assistance of Davy Russell to move him :pac:

What will they do with him will he end up as burgers or sold off
    The horse not Russel

I must say I laughed too much at the line that says "CAB are trying to seek an order to freeze Labaik"

Diodorus deserves the benefit of the doubt from a recent shocker during seasonal reappearance.

Held up, gaps closed, no run when needed, fast finisher to come 5th and Ryan is still the greatest and exempt from criticism
