    Thanks for shring! Was there a mix of male / female or was it mainly male?

    Probably about 80% male, I'd say but there was no difference in the programming. Everyone was on equal footing.

    Oh, ha! In general, I eat more now since the A12 than I ever did before. 5 meals a day (3 solid, 2 liquid). Some days are less but, overall, more food!

    That's a great result. It still pisses me off that they use such deceptive photo techniques though.

    Before:
    - Flat lighting, washed out colour, glasses, hairy, look miserable.
    After:
    - Highly angular lighting, strong colour, no glasses, waxed, smile.

    How did you manage to lose 10kg of body weight while increasing your calorie intake? Your overall intake must have decreased somewhat in order for you to loose weight. Surely?

    Did you not get macro guides or anything (and counting macros is the same as calorie counting really).?

    Yep, macro guides. I wouldn't say it's the same thing, though the result sure works out the same when applied correctly.

    (and not to go off topic but I would see them as the same really, except with macros you only count every 4th calorie or every 9th calorie :P:D)

    Did you bring your own lunch to work each day? I'd imagine it's difficult to keep that up everyday for 3 months?? Or had you always done it?

    I usually bring mine in but Only 3 or 4 times a week.

    I did. I generally bring my lunch most of the time but 12 straight weeks was tough enough. It was just one of those things that felt like a drain. But I only had to cook once a day. In the evenings, I'd cook my dinner and the following day's breakfast and lunch. Food prep was about an hour a day, which isn't so bad. Usually just stuck my headphones on and listened to a podcast so I learned some cool stuff while I cooked!

    Do you think you learned anything you didnt already know? e.g train like a svage and eat your vegetables.

    Do you think the buy in, training as a group and knowing you had to take a topless photo after 12 weeks helped.

    Do you think you could have had similar results alone if you somehow found the motivation

    Lunch doesn't have to be cooked food, though, keep in mind. I frequently just throw a bunch of raw ingredients into tupperware and call it lunch. Bread, cheese, chopped veg, fruit, nuts; easy.

    I don't think I'd have known how, nutritionally, to structure my eating to get these results, particularly without starving myself. I also don't think, even knowing what I knew about training, I could have done it myself. My focus would be too changeable etc and I'd have been trying a million different things to get abs etc (incidentally, there wasn't a single ab-isolated workout in the whole thing).

    Tbh, I've a loose enough relationship with money so the €cost didn't mean much to me. I'm by no means rolling in it but I'm able to pay my rent every month so anything after that, I figure whatever.

    The group training was HUGE to me. I hit every rep cos I wanted to be the one who hit every rep. Ditto for going to every session. I didn't want to just get the best results for myself, I wanted to get the best results out of anyone on the program (no idea if I did or didn't btw, but aiming for it was the important part). So yeah for me, the competitive thing pushed me farther than I otherwise would have gone; that'll differ person to person.

    Every day, I wrote down exactly what I did at that mornings session (and my weight that morning) so I have the program now. If I want to run it again in my own time, I can do that. But I'll probably be more likely to pay to do it again. Accountability is the motivator for me!

    Stuff a bag with lettuce if you need to! The point being: there are plenty of foods that are healthy and delicious raw.

    Fascinating. So all the ab development was from, say, squats and deadlifts? You didn't do any crunches, leg raises, etc?

    None of that. Essentially everything we did came with the command "squeeze your abs ", whether it was squats or inverted rows, curls or incline Bench. After a while, using abs for *everything* became the norm, but there was nothing that was *just* for abs.

    I'm not surprised there was no ab work. The results are down to getting lean. I'd imagine all big liftsburn a lot more energy than ab work.

    Ab work is for strong ab. I don't think there's as much scope for putting mass on them though.
