So. It is time to have a look backwards.
Gibson + Sigurdsson + Lukaku + Negredo -> Stephens + King + Kane + Gabbiadini
1+10+2+11 -> 8+11+5+1 (-12) => 24 -> 25 (-12)
But would have played McAuley (2) ahead of Gibson. So that makes it 25 -> 25 (-12)
I regret none of these transers though.- Gabbiadini home to Hull and with his 6 games in 4 GWs was a better punt (and my original single transfer plan) than Negredo home to City and with his terrible fixtures list and with his double blank last GW.So, in the end, if I'm honest and remember that my first planned move was Negredo -> Gabbiadini, the 3 additional transfers that made this -12 only cost me 2 net points. Now, I'll only be able to assess them after the DGWs.
- Same for Stephens ahead of Gibson. This one worked well while saving around £1m.
- Lukaku -> Kane was a up-to-the-end-of-the-season "isolated" -4 move in itself. Had Kane not gotten his unjustified (if I believe the many comments about it in here) YC, it would have broken even on the first GW.
- Siggy -> King was the less comfortable move. Though recent form and upcoming fixtures were in favour of the latter.
As of now, I'm up 13k to 42k and feel I have a much better team overall and more DGWs-friendly than before.
Hopefully no major scorers tomorrow and I can keep this long awaited green arrow!

Dropped 8k to circa 36k with another drop to come tomorrow night.
The points swing on Tadic's penalty miss (I own Yoshida too who won the pen) will take a long time to get over. That has more than likely cost me a decent finish this season and catching my money league rival.
Them's the breaks though. I'll hopefully come back stronger next season.0 -
