Ex Irish navy pirate security

Hi just wondering does anyone know of any ex navy men who have got jobs at pirate security on ships in the middle East or anywhere? If so is there good money involved in it?

Don't know about (specifically) ex-navy types but I do know a handful who are in anti-piracy roles in the indian ocean. Some british firms are out there but the market has a lot of newcomers after the drawdowns in Iraq/Afghan, & so the money has dropped a fair bit. Chap I was out with last weekend does 3 or 4 month rotations - has a pain in the arse with it and is going to knock it on the head.
