Morgan spotted at Ballinastoe today (presumably the owner is giving the MTB trails a lash :)).

(It's bad enough leaving an 'ordinary' vehicle at such beauty spots never mind a soft top classic.)

    I'd second that!!

...though the random construction of the plate is puzzling 'ZV 9 7 61' ??
If ever there was a car that deserves a set of ACE plates, thats the one!

I was wondering if the owner was born on the 9th July 1961.

You took the words out of my mouth! Just about to ask the same thing. :D

(When I was a youngster in the early 1980's I worked at a filling station and I only ever recall Jags (and Daimlers?) having twin tanks.)

I have a book about Aston Martin which includes a black-and-white photo (from the 60's) of an Aston Martin being filled up - by a little old lady (shop owner) - at a quaint little country petrol station in Switzerland. She had two petrol pumps on the go filling each tank of the Aston at the same time.

It must have made her day and pushed her profit margin through the roof that day/week!:D
