I'm gonna keep him. I don't see how Pep can drop him when he has been banging in goals

I'm leaning towards keeping him too, but he wasn't in too bad of form when he was dropped when Jesus arrived in January. City do have some really nice home games though, so he might be worth the risk

Yeah, I think the issue with Aguero being dropped when Jesus came around was to do with Ageuro and Pep not getting along or Aguero not suiting Pep's style of play etc. Looks like they are on pretty good terms now and he has adapted to suit Guardiola's style of play.

Still a risk though he could be dropped/rotated but I think Jesus may feature alongside Aguero or else out wide

Looking at a couple of Man City fans forums. There isn't even a suggestion of Aguero being dropped on any of them.

Some think it will be 2 up top, some think Jesus will start for Sane/Sterling and some think Jesus will be on the bench, but every predicted line up for the Middlesboro game (and I mean every single one) has Aguero in it.

So my question is Alli or Eriksen out for Hazard

    Alli I reckon.

Most likely captaining him this week and slightly reluctantly selling him after that to fund Zaha making way for Hazard and the extra 2m+ should help improve my squad

    Aguero surely?
Other than that I'd be looking at Firmino/Coutinho

Aguero on his own not punty enough. Will get him I'd say but who to spend the -4 on?

    Roon-eh!

Well it's certainly a punt, although I'd nearly rather Boaty McBoatface or David Attenborough :pac:

siblers is spot on IMO. Things are totally different between Pep and Aguero. Aguero is embracing the pressing game, and crucially is probably the form striker in the PL atm.

Pep is full of praise for him. I've been mystified by the common consensus among so many FPL nuts that Aguero would be dropped as soon as Jesus was fit.

No way he starts vs Boro I reckon. Purely on the basis of managing his minutes and match fitness after a lengthy lay off.

    Is Kane/Sanchez - Aguero/Hazard a wise move?

That's what I needed to hear, wouldn't be surprised if Sterling was dropped, he was awful last night.

Agree with you - but worth mentioning Pep was also full of praise for Jesus last night, bemoaning how different the season might have been with him fit. My bet would be that he'll start before long - but yes, probably not next game and probably not in place of Aguero.

    Torn here....

I have Ali and Eriksen in midfield with Benteke upfront.

My plan had been to take a -4 hit this week and take out Eriksen for King and Benteke for Kane.

However having doubts now mainly because of Benteke's good form and fixture. Im back top of my main cash mini league however a lot of the chasing pack have Kane, hence the fear....

I have my wildcard that I will use GW36

    So have a few options

    1. Do nothing, keep the Spurs midfield duo for Spurs cover and Benteke with no Kane
    2. Transfer Eriksen (or Ali) for King
    3. Transfer Eriksen (or Ali) for King and Benteke for Kane with a -4 hit

    What do ye think???

With option 1 could you use the FT on a defender? Having 2FTs next week is no advantage since you are WCing (so active from tomorrow)

The move for King and/or Kane is sound especially if budget is tight as they will be dearer next week. Some may get them in this week, play and even captain, chase price rises over their WC and discard them in their final draft.

Bascially you have a free punt this week like many others. GL

Struggling on who to bench this weekend:

    Sane - Sanchez - Zaha - Erikison - Alli

    Benteke - Lukaku - Kane

Any thoughts? I can't come to a decision!

Cheers for that, much to mull over...

The missus just messaged me that she is calling to the off licence on the way home from work so I'll see how it looks after a few drinks. Probably wake up in the morning with my wildcard played no Kane or Benteke and triple Southampton defence....:o

Brought in Sane and Cedric for Carroll and Mustafi for -4.

Origi out - Rashers in. Haven't decided on a -4 yet!

Don't care about the sidewayness of the move. Bailly in for Valencia I will do. For a hit then would be dealing with Siggy. Between Sane and King. They'll likely end up playing the same number of minutes as each other despite Sane having an extra game. Alternatively save the hit and play either Fuchs or Grosicki benching Siggy. Very confused.

Well you have 2 double ups so one of those
Trying to choose between Eriksen and Alli is guesswork
    So I'd bench zaha
But tbh any of that front 8 could score well

I brought in King to use my All out Attack chip

    Foster

    Yoshida Valencia

    King Alli Eriksen Sanchez Zaha

    Benteke Kane Lukaku

Alonso is first sub hope it doesn't backfire, Valencia might not even play anyway.

Somehow went from "Banking" to a -8

    Alonso/Sanchez/Kane out
    Kompany/Hazard/Aguero in

Those Chelsea/City fixtures are too scary without Hazard/Aguero

Who will score more points this week? Hazard or Gabb? Taking Alexis out for one of them.

That's a tough one. I'd probably drop Zaha

Yeah currently thinking the same but looking for any reason to keep him.
Rolling the transfer this week will mean I will only have Cedric and Tadic as DGWers. Just delaying the big calls until next week.

Did Siggy and Lukaku to Hazard and Gabby in the end. Still don't have King after convincing myself to finally get him in.

Son, Baines --> Hazard, Kompany done for -4

Kompany probably not worth the hit this week but should be worth it over the rest of the season.

Unless he gets injured again..........Massive massive risk bringing him in ahead of when you really need him for a hit

I'll take that risk if it means playing him against the league's lowest scorers instead of Baines against Chelsea.

So then he is worth the hit this week ?
    Or could be
I dunno i just wouldn't trust him to still be fit by the dgw
